A Good Day

Here's what happens when you say no to electronics:

It only took them half the summer, but they found their imaginations.  They are playing medieval times and they each set up shop.  They played for about 4 hours outside on a really hot day.  I made sure I told them how happy I was to see them play so nicely!  I also let them know I'd post their pictures so their big sisters would be happy too!

That looks like so much fun! Tim and Jonathan and I used to play Middle Ages when Mom and Dad were gone for the evening. What were you guys selling in your shops? Kai and Daniel, I'm so happy to see you in your new tunics! Sarah-Grace, too bad it was too hot for your cloak. What name did you choose? All of your look awesome!

I AM happy. It does look like fun. I'd go shopping at your shops if I were at home. :) I loved to play dress up.

(Funny that when you banned electricity they went all the way back to the Middle ages. Well, not surprising considering our family, but still.)

I'm impressed. What a neat family you are.

I have to confess....It's too hot for me to play outside. So we started home schooling early. Hoping that when fall gets here we can take some time off for playing fun stuff outside.
