Under Construction

I'm fooling around with the layout, header, sidebars, and background, so it may take a few days until our blog has a new "normal"

Block Party

Every year the school I work at has a block party.  Last night Mom and Dad and I took the 4 youngest kids.  The french fries, soft pretzels, games and bracelets and bubbles as prizes were pretty successful.  :)

It was so fun to introduce Sarah-Grace to some of my students and co-workers.  This past week each of my classes got a peek at our blog and heard some stories from our trip to Taiwan, and they've all been asking if Sarah-Grace would visit the school.  Several of my co-workers were also following along on our blog, so it was really nice to be able to introduce them to Sarah-Grace.

Happy Memorial Day!

Today we went to Aunt Beth's house for a memorial day picnic.

It was a beautiful day for a picnic, and it was even warm enough that almost everyone got in the pool.  Sarah-Grace was a bit nervous about getting in, but loved it once she was in. She was still scared, especially after she stepped off the ledge into the deep water and went under without expecting it, but she didn't want to get out.  She was shivering and freezing by the time we convinced her to get out.

Some cute pictures

Daniel and Sarah-Grace walking with Rebecca into church

We stopped at Wal Mart on our way home from church.  It wouldn't have been our first choice for a "first day home" activity, but she needed a swim suit for today, so it made sense.

Helping Daddy grill

Jet lag finally caught up with her.  She fell asleep next to the boys on the couch around 9 and slept until 11 the next morning!

Homecoming photos!

They say a picture's worth a thousand words.  I think you can tell from these pictures how happy we all are to finally have our little girl home, and how happy she is to be home.
