Breakfast at the hotel.Sarah-Grace helping me put in my earrings.
We got a late start today since we had to be at AIT at 11:30 to pick up Sarah-Grace's visa, and we didn't feel like rushing to get out the door early enough to do something before we went to AIT. When we got there, we were afraid we had the wrong time or the wrong place since there was not a person in sight, and all the interview windows were closed. We could see someone through the glass though, so we tapped on the window, they came over and gave us Sarah-Grace's visa and we were on our way!
With her English teachers, Penny, Penny's daughter and us
We stopped by the handicrafts market to do some gift shopping, then headed back to the hotel in time for our meeting with her former English teachers. They were so sweet and happy to see her.
Around 2 we left with Penny to visit Sarah-Grace's school from last year. She had asked if she could say good-bye to some friends there. The principal showed us around the school and Sarah-Grace got to spend some time with old friends. It was a neat experience for all of us. They told us there are 1,300 kids at her elementary school!

We didn't get back to the hotel until probably close to 5, and when we did we ran into an unexpected problem- the safe would not open. Both of our laptops and all of Sarah-Grace's visa paperwork were in the safe, as was my laptop. I tried a half dozen times and it still wouldn't open, even though I knew I had the right code. They sent someone up to fix it and he tired the master code. It still didn't work. He changed the batteries. It still wouldn't open. Eventually he got some keys and manually turned the bolts. We were quite relieved when it finally opened.
Now we're back from dinner (at a Chinese buffet a few doors down from our hotel) and Sarah-Grace is playing with the Chinese yo-yo she bought today.
